Optimism to the Rescue!

You know the expression, "hope springs eternal."  Well in the midst of a turbulent climate optimism can be an effective weapon.  Our nation's economy is back firing, stalling, sputtering, stopping and going like a hooptie.  You all know what a hooptie is, it is a boot legged car that has been rigged up with any and everything; but the most important thing is it will get you from point A to point B.  It may sound like I am suggesting that you sprinkle fairy dust on all of the problems in the world and they will all go away.  No, that is not what I am saying.   I just think a little positive thinking can do us all some good.  There is something about thinking good, feeling good, and going out and doing good that just makes life a whole lot more brighter; If you think I am lying then just try it.

Yes, we are in for a bumpy ride and we are going to have to grit our teeth move through it, put our war clothes on and ride or die.   But you can't walk into a battle thinking you are going to loose.   I am a big Rocky fan, you know the plot it is the same in every movie.  The odds are stacked against him, there is no way he can win, but then something happens.  It is the, "audacity of hope."  It is optimism!  It is our story!  And you know what when you start thinking that way it is contagious and addictive.   I am optimistic about the future. Romans 8:25 talks about hoping for what we do not see with perseverance.  Thins means we must push towards what we want to see with rigorous action.

I have attached a video on how to practice positive thinking, it is a little cheesy but hey it beats sitting around thinking negative.
